Dr. Leandro Chambrone

Dr. Chambrone has a wealth of experience in periodontal, implant-dentistry, oral health research, evidence-based dentistry, editorial publishing affairs, didactic teaching, and clinical training of predoctoral and postgraduate (MSc and PhD) students. He received a DDS and a Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics from Methodist University of São Paulo in Brazil. Subsequently, he earned a Masters degree and PhD in Periodontics from the University of São Paulo.

Is this program right for my experience level?

The Mini-Residency is designed for dentists across different experience levels who want to develop confidence in soft tissue grafting, aesthetic crown lengthening and mucogingival procedures.

How many courses are included?

The program includes four integrated courses delivered over four months, with eight in-person training days and sixteen hands-on sessions.

What is included in the tuition?

Tuition includes course materials, hands-on simulation models, instruments used during training, digital study resources, webinars and assessments associated with the program, academic support during each course, and a light breakfast and lunch on course days. Travel, accommodations, meals outside scheduled course hours, and optional ITI membership, certification, and examination fees are not included.

Who teaches the program?

The program is taught by an interdisciplinary faculty of recognized experts in implant dentistry, periodontology, oral surgery, and prosthodontics. Faculty members combine extensive clinical experience with years of teaching and training dental professionals, including academic appointments at leading universities. This ensures that participants receive practical, evidence-based instruction grounded in current clinical practice.

Will I receive continuing education credits?

Yes. Participants who complete the full Mini-Residency and all applicable requirements may earn up to 113 continuing education (CE) credits. The number of credits awarded for each course is listed on its individual course page.

How is this different from an individual grafting course?

The Mini-Residency combines multiple progressive courses, structured academic components and repeated hands-on training within one four-month educational program.
