This live training bridges the gap between understanding soft tissue grafting and executing it on real patients. Each participant moves through diagnosis, treatment planning, surgery, tissue handling, suturing and post-treatment review under direct supervision.
Simulation courses build technique, but live surgery adds patient management, anatomical variability, intraoperative judgment and responsibility. This experience is designed for clinicians ready to make that transition in a controlled university setting.

Build a patient-specific surgical plan
Select the donor site, grafting approach, flap design, suturing strategy and post-operative protocol for each assigned case.
Perform connective tissue graft procedures
Harvest and place autogenous connective tissue while managing tissue dimensions, recipient-site preparation and graft stability.
Perform free gingival grafting
Increase keratinized tissue around teeth or implants using a structured free gingival graft workflow on a real patient.
Manage the complete live procedure
Apply anesthesia, flap management, graft positioning, microsurgical suturing, hemostasis and patient communication under supervision.
Evaluate healing and treatment decisions
Review the completed procedure, discuss post-operative care and analyze the decisions that influence healing and long-term stability.

Review the patient, defect, medical considerations and treatment objectives with the supervising faculty.

Perform the assigned grafting procedure on a real patient under continuous one-on-one or two-to-one expert supervision.

Stabilize the graft, complete the microsurgical closure and establish medication, hygiene and patient-instruction protocols.

Who can participate in this training?
Licensed dentists with a DDS, DMD or equivalent degree who are currently engaged in dental practice or hold an academic clinical position.
Will I perform the grafting surgeries myself?
Yes. Each participant performs their own soft tissue procedures on real patients under one-on-one or two-to-one supervision by experienced faculty.
What types of cases will I treat?
The training includes autogenous connective tissue grafts, free gingival grafts and aesthetic mucogingival procedures around teeth and implants.
What is included in the tuition?
Tuition includes course materials, hands-on simulation models, instruments used during training, digital study resources, webinars and assessments associated with the program, academic support during each course, and a light breakfast and lunch on course days. Travel, accommodations, meals outside scheduled course hours, and optional ITI membership, certification, and examination fees are not included.
Is the payment refundable?
No. Payments are non-refundable because of the small group size, assigned patients, reserved clinical time and pre-planned logistics. Rescheduling may be considered in an emergency, subject to availability.

Due to the limited group size, advanced patient scheduling, and logistical coordination required for live surgical programs, all payments for Live Patient Training are non-refundable.
Each participant is assigned real patients, dedicated clinical time, and pre-planned materials that cannot be reassigned on short notice.
If an emergency arises, we will do our best to accommodate a reschedule for a future session, subject to availability. Refunds are not permitted under any circumstances.
